REMIXES

A Remix is the art of rearrangement of a piece of work or media to give it new life.

In Hip Hop and R&B, some of the most iconic hits have been remixes, reimagined to bring fresh energy and perspective to the original work.

This project is my personal way of paying homage to some of the greatest photographs in Hip Hop and R&B and to showcase some of my personal favorite musical artists as well.

This was done in a form of a collection of photos put together as an album to be enjoyed in full. It’s a tribute to the masterful photographers who captured these unforgettable moments in history, while also allowing me to infuse my own vision and style into them.

By no means this is erasure or degradation of the art that has come before mine, but an extension of my love for it.
